Cliff Frink, Owner
Cliff is a certified Arborist (certificate number: WE-7925A) and earned a BS degree in Agronomy from the Ohio State University. He started Sage Tree Care after a successful career in golf course maintenance where he managed some of Arizona’s finest private and public courses. Cliff saw an opportunity to combine his passion for science and nature by providing outstanding tree care to discriminating clients.

Sage Tree Care employs highly skilled and highly trained tree care professionals that share a passion for proper tree care. It is imperative for all employees to love what they do in the tree care business; the work is too physically demanding and it’s too easy to take shortcuts. All of our employees start out ‘dragging branches’ for months and undergo intense hands-on training before being asked to prune or climb. All of our climbers understand the nature of each tree and how it is growing before they prune it.
